Cavatore
The village of Cavatore has just under 300 inhabitants with a beautiful tower (La Torre) next to a small church that also serves as the town hall. For groceries and restaurants, Acqui Terme (8 km) is the place to be. Nice places like Nizza Monferrato, Alba, Barolo and Asti can easily be reached by car and the drive takes you through a landscape of hazelnut trees and ancient vineyards.
For cyclists it is a beautiful, but challenging environment where some level of fitness comes in handy. Hikers can also enjoy themselves with beautiful trails and hiking paths through the vast nature of Italy. There are also many other activities in the area – something for everyone!
